UPC "PUFF A SMOKE" ?
Posted by krapug1 on Monday, December 3, 2007 5:32 PM

When you buy a complete train set on E-Bay you never know what little extras you get.

I have been lucky in that I have always gotten what I paid for, but on a happy or lucky note there have always some extra goodies in the set boxes.

Most recently I bought a Marx Diesel set, and the 'extras" included a Tyco DC transformer (perfect for my Christmas Tree loop as I like to use my Lionel DC onlys for this), and a vial of UPC Puff A Smoke.
Has anyone head of this ?, and when I say vial the package of smoke fluid is very similar to the vial of Oil that Lionel sells as part of it's maintenance kit. The tip makes it a smap to put the smoke fluid in, and it works like crazy in my Marx 666, which as CTT put it, smokes like a beast, and it worked great in my Lionel MPC 8600 as well.

......and for the record the set was NOT the Marx LV DC set, when I first saw the Tyco transformer I was thinking great, the engine has been destroyed, but the original Marx 25 watt transformer was there as well, and the engine works fine after some TLC.
