Was waiting and finally gave up. Bought DCS for grandaughter. Will consider buying Legacy after it has been out for about 6 months (summer 2008) and all the bugs are worked out...

At 2 1/2 she loves it! Liked the spooky music through the train at Halloween!

I have the New York Central GP-7's on order along with the Legacy command system. Need to decide whether to hook up Legacy in the Train Room or the Dining Room or break down and buy a second Legacy set later!

I know of at least 10, those that bought Big Boys from us, not counting those on the forum.

Great looking engine, but man 'o man--I'd have re do most of my layout with that hangover she has. Another good reason to get the biggest curves made. Maybe some day in a few more years.

I'm on the list.  I don't have any Legacy engines on order, but the plan is that once the aftermarket boards are available, I will convert a number of conventional and even some DCS and TMCC engines to Legacy.  Figure I will have the best available once the layout is fully operational.
