Nice video! Was that the music that the K-line Diner plays?

Thanks Alex !! No, that wasn't from my diner ! It was a music video that a friend sent me & had on while I did the video so it would get in the camera at the same time . It really didn't come as clear, through the camera . I'm not to good at that !! Laugh [(-D]

Nice pics so far.  Two things to share.  Went to the St. Croix RR, a 10 acre outdoor layout with around 30 or so elecric, gasoline, and steam powered engines to ride.  My son is giving the thumbs up on the first photo with mom sitting behind and the second is the workhorse engine that pulled us.  The last photo is my progress on my tinplate layout (my first ever).  I hope to have the painting done this weekend.  Look forward to more pictures........RJ

Hubby and I finally got to take a 3 day camping trip to the Alleghany Mtns. in western Va.  We came across this piece of history which was built in 1857, restored in 1953 and is now the focal point of a wayside park outside of Covington, Va.  The timing for the picture was great if you check out the background......

"Humpback Bridge, unique in bridge designs in the United States, has its original hand-hewn timbers which are put together with hand-made locust pins.  The span is 120 feet long, with abutments placed 100 feet apart, with no middle support.  The center of the floor and roof is about four feet higher than at the ends, thus giving the humped appearance from whence it was named.  It is the only bridge of its design in the United States."

Also got to see the CSX RY in Clifton Forge.........

The old Freight Depot there is undergoing work to be open as a museum and archives for the C&O RR Historical Society.....

This is a restored caboose that will be located on site as part of the museum.  They have also restored some C&O dining cars that are elsewhere at this time but will return as part of the museum and future dining excursions.  You can see some abandoned passenger cars in the back ground.  They are in pretty rough shape.  There were some pictures in the current building of items stored in the shed to the right.  One of which is a quadracycle  -  similar to what John and Kurt have been discussing.  Will post if can find it on the website.

EDIT:  Not the picture I saw but here is the link to a similar one.
