I am still waiting for that ever elusive month of SundaysConfused [%-)]

Does anyone know if there are any O Scale or Ogauge clubs in Columbus Ohio? I know of the S gauge one COSG and the GardenRailroad club and there is the bunch on the fairgrounds but they are mostly Ho and N the last time I was there.

Hey, call it Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Photo Fun for all I care, just so long as it shows up on at least one of the seven days of the week - can we at least agree there are seven days in a week? And please, lets not allow this forum to regress into a real OGRe of a forum....Whistling [:-^]

I think there was a petition going around Europe to have an additional day added to the week... so who knows!?!?!

Would you get the day off or would you be required to report to work?  I want to know before I sign.

You'd be required to work, but you'd get every Friday off.

Now with Fridays off, would you still be able to post pictures on that day ? !! Laugh [(-D]

Thanks, John

If you can't find one, start your own. IT could be OTTS (Ohio Toy Train Summmit) Of Central Ohio.

OTTS started here on the CTT forum and now is about 30 members strong.

Here are some of the forum members that I know of in the Clombus area:

Spanky thanks for the list of fellow Modelers in the Columbus area, I don't so much want to start a Club as that would require a lot of work on my part but if anyone wants to start one for the Columbus area I will join.Cool [8D]

Wow, a blast from the past. I remember when this thread first came up, but I didn't say anything because just about everyone said what I was going to say.. keep in on Sunday. But now that I think about it, a weekend photo fun wouldn't be a bad idea. That way if I'm busy Sunday cramming and doing work I put off all weekend, maybe I would have had time to put pictures up say Friday or Saturday. That might happen, or I might end up procrastinating a weekend photofun and my pictures would be posted on Sunday night anyway ;)

I can say that I'm one that don't like much change also ,but.

Myself I love to view the pictures that everyone posts ,especially of their layouts (because I really don't have a "real" layout yet).

But if there was a weekly ,or a weekend "photo pages",there would be no traditional "Sunday Photo Fun".

So that's what it boils down to is tradition. Are people more into being traditional or ready for change ?

I'll go against the current of flow and say let's go to something else.My 2 cents [2c]

Thew is one in Upper Arlington.  They meet the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month in the UA strip mall near Lazarus.  If you are intereted, I'll find out more about it for you.  I work near that strip mall, but I'm never around there on Saturday's.  I want to check it out sometime.  I have looked in the window, and it looks like O 2 rail, but its hard to tell from the door.  They also do some Z in another location in the same building.

Some history....Someone, somewhere, sometime tried to do a Weekend Photo Fun.  It didn't catch on.  Tom and several others have faithfully for the last 3 years (?), started every Sunday morning off with Sunday Photo Fun.  Can you say commitment? Bow [bow] Bow [bow] Bow [bow]

I notice that the yutz, putz, or troll or whatever you want to call the clown that dredged up some of these oldies with less than polite verbiage has been expunged. Good, no big loss.

I vote to keep it as Sunday Photo Fun.  While I usually don't get to see all the posted photos until Tuesday, or even later, it doesn't matter.  I kinda like the idea of folks getting together for a little show and tell and complementing each other's work.  Some layouts, like Spankybird's I feel like I have been there and always like the little changes Tom does from week to week to showcase a scene.

On another related topic, I would like that some of the better pictures be posted to a special "photo" section that we could go and look up any time as opposed to searching the SPF posts from past weeks.

On yet another, but unrelated subject, Brent We all know that the SEC is the toughest conference in the world.  It is so tough, that by the time the bowl games come around, the SEC teams have beaten each other up to a point where most of the team is playing with injuries.

Dennis This might not be exactly what you want, but you do know about the CTT Layout Gallery right?

Sunday.  People slowly post on the previous sunday's posts anyhow.  I look forward to looking at so many pictures all at once, which is better than one or two a day, for me.

Are you refering to me? I could have swore there was a recent post before mine. I didn't search for this thread. I found it on the first page.

3 years of commitment? I'm going to have to change my mind and agree with buckeye. Sunday is good. However, Tom did create this thread ;)

There was a post prior to yours, rather derogatory in nature which has been deleted, it seems the individual involved has cloned another poster's handle and is creating a good deal of hate & discontent on most all of the "Trains Forums".
