O 3-rail vs. S

I've made up my mind! I'm going O 3-rail. It was a tough decision, and even when my gut kept saying "O," I kept hearing the siren song to S. But I needed to decide, and the ease of availability of O scale stuff, the heft of the equipment, and the fact that I wrangled a few more feet from the surveyor's office to use in the basement, all led me to O!

I wanted to thank everyone for their opinions and advice. I guess this means I'll be hanging around here some more now! See what you caused...[:P]
