Here's my contribution: I call 'em the mini-Marxes 'Cause they're all decorated just like matching Marx E7s in O gauge! Can you believe I still don't own a single Marx E7? Maybe at the next show I attend...-Ellie

Very cool!did you find them at a train show?

The Marx HO units didn't come in every livery the O ones had, but they did Rock Island, Santa Fe, Western Pacific, Union Pacific, and New York Central (two liveries- black/white lettering, yellow-orange/black lettering). I've seen mention somewhere online of Santa Fe units molded in silver instead of gray, but I haven't seen one in pictures or out in the wild yet.-Ellie
Marx stuff is pretty cool and durable!

Well it's been said the rarest Marx engine is one that doesn't work!
That is what I hear!
. Speaking of Marx.. I had this old Marx light tower base for years and the paint was in very poor condition,so I stripped the paint off and will primer and paint it!
Decided to paint it black and silver...
Re assembled the light tower...had to re-spray the vase because you have to handle it a lot and the paint wasn't quite dry ..
Wow, nice!
Probably BETTER than new!
Looks great! I've left a few paw prints on "not quite dry" paint myself!
Same me, different spelling!
Yes almost looks like chrome plating!
I need to find another light fixture for my Marx Light Tower...any ideas?
