I judge the value of a toy train article by how thought-provoking it is. Based upon the posts in this thread, the reed switch article passes the value test with flying colors . It has gotten people thinking about how best to control their trackside accessories. The article is a success based on that alone.

Kudos to the author and CTT for authoring and publishing about a subject not usually covered in the three rail world. Previous to reading the article, I didn't even know this type of control system existed.
