Anyone have any experience with these passenger cars? A local hobby shop has a set at a good price and they look like they would do the job for my Son's growing O27 empire. I am somewhat familiar with Bachmann from the world of HO and know that cheap Bachmann can be terrible, but they also make so excellent products in their Spectrum line. I am not familiar with Williams at all. Anyway, comments on quality and performance would be welcome.
Thanks and Merry Christmas everyone.

Williams products were well made and W by B are the same product. I am sure you would be happy with them as they follow the postwar Lionel design.

Greetings,
I had a set of the green and grey luxary lines cars. They are very close to the postwar originals. They have the screws that hold the roof in place and the metal sub frame not found on latter issue lionel streamliners. I have been happy with all my Williams products.

I have nothing but praise for the Williams line of O Gauge products, before or after the buyout by Bachmann.
Having said that, I have had trouble with Bachmann Large Scale, especially the trolleys.

Good, thanks for the feedback. There will be a set of them under the tree for the little lad.
My Dad started a tradition when my brothers and I were kids. He would go out right before Christmas and purchase something for each of us. This gift became known as "Daddy's little extra" We always looked forward to these gifts as they were invariably things that my Mother would never have purchased. I think she used to get a bit ticked at him for spending too much. Anyway, it is a tradition that I have continued for the past 12 years with my two boys. Things like O scale passenger cars are ideal for this gift. My oldest is getting an expansion set of Eurostar cars for his OO scale train that we run on the HO layout. So there is a bit of a theme to "Daddy's little extra" this year.
