A terrifec middle-1940s Trians artcle on IC Suburban should be reprinted in Classic Trains, but in the mean-time, here are some photos of the Blue Island Branch, including two at the Blue island station, the tail or pocket track, a meet, and wire maintanance.  the year is that in the 1970s when The Association of  Railway Museums had a Chicago coiinvention.
