Dick Kindig Photos
Posted by ByzantineArt on Monday, October 18, 2010 12:02 PM

Is there a source for buying prints of Richard Kindig narrow gage photos?

I especially want  an awesome panoramic b&w "landscape" view of a pix that was published in a 1969 Trains issue featuring narrow gage articles.  Included were serveral Kindig photos.   This one was called, "The wide, wide world of narrow gage."

Anyone know where I can buy a print of this specific pix and other Kindig prints?

Google search the Denver Public Library. Next click into their Western History and Genealogy Dept.  Lastly type "Kindig" in the search box, select digital images, and then click the "GO" button.

The late Mr. R. H. Kindig was a founding member of the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club.  Check with the Club's website, but I'm very certain that his collection of steam locomotive negatives all went to the Denver Public Library, Western History Department.

Another source of inquiry is the Richardson Library at the Colorado Railroad Museum.  Check the Museum's website as well.
