BR Standard Class 4 75014

[Great Western]

In the other thread, and in order not to infringe their rules, I post this info here.

The preserved BR Class 4 loco 75014 named Braveheart presently belongs, it was bought around three years ago, to the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway (Dart Rail):  (I am an volunteer on this RR).

Currently it is undergoing major overhaul, the boiler is removed and away for re-tubing and other work.  The loco will not be required for use for a couple of years or so and as such there is no hurry for the jobs to be completed.  

In another section mention was made of WD austerity 0-6-0 locos.  As far as I know two are at the South Devon Railway but not presently operational.

I hope that this info is useful to those Stateside who have interest in UK railroads.  My interests lie in the US railroads, primarily the fallen flag Milwaukee Road and D&RGW also in large scale garden railroading.

Thanks for the pics.  Not a fav of mine well, just look at its road number 68xxx 

 I little embarassment yesterday at our main terminal,   - although it is now rectified.

For those Stateside, well, yes we do get derailments over here as well, but they are generally not catastrophic.
