A BNSF Z train rushes west towards Flagstaff as they prepare to cross under the historic Route 66. Located at Exit 204 off I-40, this popular vantage point inside the San Francisco Peaks mountain range provides quite a contrast from the desert scenery outside of the Coconino National Forest. And being 8 miles outside of Flagstaff, this hotspot provides a convenient getaway from the downtown scene. Traffic is plentiful along BNSF's Transcon Route and this location is a must-see if photographing in the area.
