Strike Preparedness for TYE
Posted by Railway Hammer on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 2:27 AM

This post applies to TYE mainly due to the fact so many will be stuck out of town or own trains.

Seek information from your local chairman. If they're not actively planning for the 16th at 0001 then they're absolute garbage. They should be preparing you for the worst case scenario right now.

With that said, it's also best to take preparedness into your own hands. Just like we've seen the railroad fail to get us home with any sort of ice storms, they will not stray away from leaving us on trains.

The best way to make sure you will not be stuck out of town with no way to get back in case of a family emergency is to make sure you're not on a train on the 14th and 15th. That being said, the good locals are already working on plans to make sure those who are affected will be able to get out of the hotel or off the trains. Feel free to ask any other questions about the potential strike but I urge you to reach out to your local chairman if they haven't done so already.
