Currently, as far as I can tell, the Pennsylvanian runs daily; and the Capitol and the Cardinal run three times a week.
If Covid was not around, and things went back to normal, would either/both the Cardinal or the Capitol be daily? Were they daily right up until Covid hit?
Still in training.

The Cardinal has been a three day a week train since the get go, I think. The Capitol Limited was daily until October 2020, when it was cut back to three days a week along with all but one of the other long-distance trains. The exception is the Auto Train, which is running daily.
Will all the long-distance trains be restored to daily service post COVID-19? Or will management make some or all the long-distance cutbacks permanent?
Thanks, man.
Yes, I fear that the Capitol may never come back as daily, and others too.
We're planning a trip. You kind of have to let Amtrak decide where you can stay for certain amounts of nights! Unlike how one would normally plan a trip. But that's okay.
