It was not up to Ken Burns standards - of course it was not done by Ken Burns. There is only so much that can be said in 57 minutes of air time.
Our local PBS station didn't have it. Was it an American Experience episode?

Guess everybody should have been in Jacksonville on the day it was broadcast there.
Part of the interest in Jacksonville was the work of A. Phillip Randolph in creating the Union for Pullman Porters as Mr. Randolph had ties to Jacksonville and is a part of Black History Month.
Local PBS stations have some discretion in their programming. Our local station broadcasted a number or rail related TV shows in the past, but I guess things change.

This is being televised on Cleveland's PBS station (WVIZ) this evening, Sunday, February 7.
Our local PBS station seems to be mostly concerned with keeping the Richmond area Anglophiles happy. There's a lot of Brit-centric shows they broadcast, Britcoms, Brit murder mysteries, royal family shows, you name it.
But they ARE showing the latest version of "All Creatures Great And Small." It's good, but if you remember the last one from 40 years ago like we do it takes a little getting used to, kind of coming back to the old neighborhood and everyone you knew has moved away.
The new version of "All Creatures" is definatly not as lighthearted as the original. Never read the books, so I am not sure which is truer to the author.
This (the Pullman show) came up over on the MR forums. It appears what was aired was the recent Kalmbach "Pullman - America's Hotel on Wheels" DVD. Unfortunately, it's apparently not being aired by the PBS network, but just here and there by individual local affiliates...like how some show "Great Scenic Railway Journeys" or "Great American Railroad Journeys" and some don't.

Now that we're used to it we like it! Although the new Tristan seemed to have just a little bit of a mean streak which has abated. I guess it took a bit for the actors to settle into the roles.
Certainly the new version has a much more "lush" look to it than the old one did.
