I wouldn't hold my breath. Even as we speak the Taiwanese government is preparing for a possible influx of refugees from Hong Kong if the CCP brings the hammer down on the city. The resulting international issues and fallout will be sticky if that happens, to say the least.
Approximately 24 tracks in each direction. platform space for 20+ cars. Certainly no passenger station in US anywhere has that kind of capacity.

When you have a totally in control government that has experienced engineers and construction firms; doesn't have to worry about environmental actions, NIMBYS, private property rights, labor unions, local government, civil lawsuits, etc.; and makes it a priority, you can get things done in a hurry.
The train looks like the German ICE4.
