The 210 Freeway between Pasadena and near San Bernardino, construction started about 1970 and was completed about 5 years ago.

Just came across the Railway Gazette.com website. Lots of current worldwide information including California High speed which is turning out to be the boondoggle many of us expected.  Way behind schedule, way over budget, numerous unresolved problems.  Article on California is in the most read column right side of page.

One wonders how the Cal HSR construction compares with any cost overruns, behind schedule, snafus, etc. on Interstate highway building or aircraft carriers or the V-22?
