What was the reason for the delay of Amtrak 28/4th into Spokane? I suspect the BNSF had a derailment on that X-SPS line. Amtrak shows that 28 arrived Pasco 7'55" late. Amtrak Dixieland shows #8 running eight hours late out of Libby.

Yep. BNSF freight had a problem.
After leaving Spokane, No.8 lost another 20 minutes or so while being fueled on Main 5 at Hauser.
