On page 480 of Trial and Error by Israel's first Presdient, he described going from New Yor to Washington "by special trsin," after his first official act was accepting President Truman's inviation. (He was in New York at the time because of UN matters leading to Israel's independence.) This woiuld e on 24 or 25 May, 1947. I think he wrote in error, that he simply had an office car, pobably PRR 120, attached to the rear of a regular NY - Washington express.
If anybody can provide further information, thanks in advance. Possibly a reader has a record of all 120's moves?
