I am surprised because I did not think Kansas had the money nor the interest given it's current budget mess............I still think an extension to Kansas City makes a lot more sense than just to Newton, KS.    Connection time of 10:30 to 11:00 p.m. in KC is more reasonable than 2:00 to 3:00 a.m. at Newton.

It can become a reality if Siemens can produce cars fast enough to fulfill the demand in California and the midwest freeing up some cars to be surplus to those regions.   Oh and also the PNW depending on Talso replacements .
