Hi:

I had not planned to send any further emails from our trip, but on the last
night together, our travel group had dinner and our tour director chose a Thai (of course) restaurant nearly across the street from one of Bangkok’s
train stations.  Officially known as Hua Lamphong, a quick check of the
internet showed that it had been constructed in 1916.  Long distance and  commuter trains to the local provinces operate from its 20 platforms and
Bangkok’s MTR has this station as a terminal.

Seeing this magnificent building at nighttime easily made the decision to
share these photos.  To get the daylight photos, I rushed over to the
station ahead of our morning departure to the BKK (Suvarnabhumi) Airport for
our flight to Hong Kong and connection to Newark Airport.

Night and Day.

My posing the photos from my hard drive must await restoration of the edit button.  Or some other Forum member who received Randy's message can post them.   Thank you.
