May I suggest "Precision Mis-management Scheduling"?

By the way -- in the ACTUAL breaking-news, non-trolling category of news you haven't heard from Newswire: this from Railway Age about the Hudson's Bay Railway and the Omnitrax situation, October 18th
http://www.railwayage.com/index.php/freight/short-lines/canada-gives-omnitrax-30-days-to-repair-hbr.html?channel=&Itemid=474
BaltACD Miningman I suppose the "breaking part" is that the ship sent to pick up the VIA cars encountered rough seas and had to take shelter in a safe harbour, therefore delaying the scheduled arrival date in the Port of Churchill. Imagine that - delays in transportation!

Aha! So this is not really any more a ‘breaking news’ story than the Newswire staff’s repeatedly trolling UP for comment on the ’scandalous’ drone videos while ignoring the snowboarding-over-the-train-with-attractive-blonde one?
Thanks. I stand better informed. Hey, at least I wouldn’t have asked if not for reading about it here...
Overmod--Well you did not look hard enough! There has been a lot discussed on this subject going back a year although spread out over 3 or 4 different threads dealing with the subject.
The Trudeau Liberal Government has finally stopped playing bluff poker with Omni and has agreed to pay for the track repairs, some 60 million, IF Omni agrees to sell it at a reasonable price to Native Groups and their business interests.
There is quite a good article that I posted not long ago with details of the work, the method, the workforce itself and the costs.
As for VIA I suppose they are not willing to wait for the track repairs which should be completed sometime in November.
There has been a lot of postings on the subject, most by myself. I am at work, doing this at lunchtime and simply cannot search for these articles because of time restraints, but they are in several seperate Hudson Bay Railroad headings and String Lining.
Why have I heard nothing about this story before ... including on the heavily-Canadian-patronized String Lining thread?
MONTREAL, Quebec — Stormy weather on Hudson Bay means it will be a few more days until VIA Rail Canada can rescue a stranded passenger train by ship. The MV Nunalik sought shelter in Whale Cove, north of Churchill, Manitoba, for most of a day ...
