Here's a video shot from the cab of a special train that went around Madrid using the spanish capital's compreensive broad gauge network (some of it freight only or connecting tracks). Believe it or not, somme of these lines are pretty recent, having entered service in the 1960s. Even the station from where the train departs is as recent as 1968 (but trackage has been modified to accomodate the 'high speed North' lines wich are statndrd gauge, some 10 years ago). Note ; the video has been edited when passing thru tunnels (some of them are quite long).
