800 feet of track was suspended.  With good access from a nearby grade crossing, it was filled in and packed by late Monday.  Wednesday's Vermonter 56(5) restored northbound service, returning yesterday morning as 55(6).

How severe is the washout?

Washout is in Hartford Village (Same town, a bit closer to White River Jct.) just west of VA Cutoff Rd. around Roxbury Sub MP 17.

Vermonter cancelled north of Springfield MA.  Wash out 800 feet of rail at West Hartford, VT.
