Neat video, and that winter wasteland!  Hard to believe it's the United States and not Antarctica, or the Russian steppes at least.

Subway?  They could have done a lot worse.  I like Subway myself and could live on it, my only problem with a lot of Subways is little or no seating in the Subway shops, at least around here.

It does go to show that similar food could be brought aboard shorter run LD trains that don't have full-service diners.

I have never been a fn of Subway or any similar chain, but I believe that such food would be better than that which is available in the cafe lounge cars.

Really cool video but make sure you have the sound on to get the full affect.

Not a bad idea.  Train crews could pass out order forms and scan the completed ones to Subways (or others) along the trains route and have the filled orders waiting at designated stops.

With today's technology, it seems there would be infinite ways to solve Amtrak's food problem, if indeed one does exist.
