UP Leading Amtrak Cascades 506

An interesting sight on Sunday, April 9, 2017 as UP 4042, an EMD SD70M led the Amtrak Cascades 506 through Tukwila, Wa.

The P42DC on Saturday's 507 was removed in Portland because it had brake issues...then the SD70M also had brake issues but they were able to send it south an hour and a half late. They seemed to keep it and 506 relatively on time considering the lower top speed of the UP unit.

Thanks for the info! It was only 30 minutes late by the time it got to Tukwila, so that's pretty impressive.
