From what my Scandinavian relatives tell me, for Swedes to get upset enough to shrug is tantamount to riot here.

Only Polish (Wyborowa) or Russian (Stolichnaya) grain vodka is worth drinking.

Hey, they went straight from the train to the sauna!

A couple of stiff belts of aquavit probably helped as well.

It takes a tough kind of person to stomach Sweden's cold north, and that was proven on Wednesday night, when a train broke down close to the Arctic Circle and lost its heating as temperatures dropped to almost minus 40.
