Incredible what a hoard of manpower can do....

One day in 1985, 100 men 2 lines total of 50 each operating in a V shape formation at each sliding door in Bremerhaven (one v shape formation at each door).   Successfully loaded an 85 foot DB baggage car with Army duffle bags in less than 2 min time as that was all that was allowed for the stop on the DB rail system on the train headed for West Berlin.     The look of surprise on the DB Rail Conductors face after seeing the mass of duffle bags disappear so fast.    The same Conductor asked for 10 men to remain in the car en route for about 30-45 min to organize the mess afterward in the baggage car so that the load was better balanced and it was easier to traverse the length of the baggage car.    Still, quite a feat.......you'll never see Amtrak repeat....ha!
