Even better description from the Brightline website of the features:

intrrior description sounds a lot like the quasi standard European layout. Found it interesting that each train set will be a different color.

The trainsets are designed to be expanded to 7 cars if traffic warrants.

Four coaches and a 4000 HP locomotive at each end?

This isn't just a test article, according to Wikipedia, this is the consist specified for the Florida service.

Is this thing going to be economical, either in cost, fare price, or even energy usage per train seat?

If GM "killed the electric car", what am I doing standing next to an EV-1, a half a block from the WSOR tracks?

Metro Red Line
Do you happen to know the exact route to Florida from Sacramento?

Why, the Sunset Route of course (with a trip over Tehachapi as a bonus).

CAF, hell we are still waiting on the Japs for the Midwest Corridor Cars......when the hell will they get their act together.   I think the Midwest Compact should sue them or negotiate more cars as a settlement.
