Lawsuit about Sal Lake company proviing diesel fuel with contaminants that caused loco failures. Although this is about one specific train's locos can we wonder if other failures can be traced to this fuel supplier ?
The problem of contaminatted fuel is always a worry and the airplane supplies are especially vulnerable. Has UP received any fuel from this supplier that was not up to specs ? Maybe all fuel trucks should have a faucet that a small sample tube of fuel can be obtained and placed into a container to be forwarded to quality control just as airlines sometimes do ?
