As long as ther have been airports planes have landed at wrong ones. Commercial airlines I can remember is Dominican republic, San Juan, Ft Lauderdale, , Omaha, Washington National ( at old Boling AFB across Potomac ), McArthur field on long island, Wichita, Tucson, ElPaso ( Mexico ), New Orleans, Orlando. And then are the close encounters being waved off at less than 1000 feet. l
Then there are the wrong runway landings and even landing on a taxiway ( happened in ATL )
Must be a full moon because in addition to Amtrak taking the wrong track a Delta Airliner landed at the wrong Airport in SD.
