Major problems at WASH union station

Appears that weather has caused disruptions at WASH but not sure why.

Train 548 will depart New Carrollton at approximately 11:20pm, once all the passengers have arrived off the Metro from Union Station.  A MARC Conductor is riding the Metro with the last group of passengers that left Union Station, so the MARC Train will not depart New Carrolllton before they have arrived.

The New Carrollton station is closed at this time and there are no Amtrak employees on duty.  If you are waiting at New Carrollton, please proceed up to the platform and wait for further instructions from the train crew.  Please do not wait downstairs in the Metrorail station area.

Once passengers are loaded and the last group arrives from Union Station, Train 548 will depart New Carrollton making all stops to Perryville.

EDIT  proble,s are actually near New CArrolton due to flooding.  Amtrak's trains running late as well.

just found  out a track fire at the station Wedensday morning caused major delays as well and put  MARC all lines, VRE, and Amtrak behind the 8 ball.
