Now that BNSF has completed most of its track work for the summer along the GN high line the Empire Builder is on time. (Eastbound EB arrived in St. Paul, MN nearly an hour early). This will help their ridership and costs, I am sure. 

Now of course the winter will slow them again.

A check of Amtrak status at 0646 this morning showed almost all trains in green.  The reaction here  -----------    " what the heck ? "  Note train # 98 only train nationally over 1 hour late
