schlimm daveklepper Hey, if I visit you I won't pee in your pool. Is it OK to pee in your lake? Does the lake provide any drinking water? What about the ocean? What is the required distance from another human being? I need to know because I am 83 and those matters beoome a bit more frequent as one gets older. Most drinking water in Chicago and suburbs comes from Lake Michigan. It is clean and low on mineral content. Swimming pools in WI? Hardly. Cheeseheads and former cheeseheads really are not capable of understanding much beyond their bovine culture. [sarcasm emoji]

Would definately be an above ground swimming pool in WI, Just sayin.
Yours Truly, The FIB
CMStPnP Chicago flushes a good percentage of it's pollution down the Chicago River towards the Mississippi...........they reversed the flow of the river and that was their pollution control solution.

115 years ago. Much has changed since then.
An "expensive model collector"
CMStPnPMilwaukee has a huge underground tunnel project to store sewage in times of peak processing demand.
Chicago already built their own deep tunnel project at least 15 years ago. Chicago beaches sometimes get closed from summer pollution emanating from Wisconsin souhbound.
C&NW, CA&E, MILW, CGW and IC fan
The Great Lakes would be a lot more polluted had Canada not insisted on a treaty with the United States to preserve their water quality as well as prevent large amounts of water being diverted from them. Milwaukee has a huge underground tunnel project to store sewage in times of peak processing demand.
CMStPnP daveklepper And much lower in emissions, which is important in two "politically correct" states. Aaghh, Illinois doesn't care about pollution, they like to preach to others about it but they are horrible with their sewage discharges as well as their lack of any kind of a emmisions control program. Wisconsin has long suffered from the flatlander ambivalence in regards to pollution and Milwaukee in particular has paid steep prices for emission control stations for cars and several Billion dollars for a updated sewer system because of the Illinois indifference and what flows North. In fact if you live in Wisconsin and have a swimming pool and have guests from Illinois.....typically you have to remind them it is not civilized to pee in the pool.

Since when does water flow north from Il to Wi? Quite a rewright of geography.
what flows north from Il to Wi is $$$.
schlimm Sprinters were previously ordered; this is essentially a second order. Sprinters are a widely-used andnewer technology than P-42s. They also have a highertop speed, which may be used in the future.

Not really a second order but exercising part of the option for up to 225 additional units in the original deal according to: http://www.railwaygazette.com/news/traction-rolling-stock/single-view/view/more-siemens-charger-diesel-locomotives-ordered.html#.VkCqcfS1MDg.mailto:
I guess that means that I just took our cars into the state facility for emissions testing for no reason at all. However, I wouldn't be surprised if our current governor would attempt to repeal any state environmental laws since he would view them as "anti-business".
Nonsense
With these two states (ILL lead agency for all midwest dhort distance ) ordering more sprinters one has to wonder about motives. Can it be that These agencies are worried about the reliability of P-42s ? Out of service accident rate of late is also a worry.
