Track a Train -- Gone!
Posted by petitnj on Sunday, June 28, 2015 7:49 AM

As of about Midnight on 6/27/2015 Track a Train dissapeared from the amtrak.com web site. Dixielandsoftware.net tracking also stopped. Anyone know where it went? Amtrak.com train tracking still seems to work but apparently they have moved the google map tracking somewhere.

As of a minute ago - Dixieland is still working for me.

Dixieland just now was successfully accessed through Western Pennsylvanians for Passenger Rail's website, www.wpprrail.org

No matter what I want to look at, the screen goes to it--and then flashes to the screen that offers buying tickets, checking status, and modifying a trip. Apparently no other information is available.

Which site?  The Amtrak one (doesn't seem to be in the remodeled site)?   Or some other site?
