While I would agree that some choices are lame, others are quite sensible and typical. Just because you do not like some or even all of them shouldn't cause you to call them nonsense.

Trains can improve connections between other transportation assets - like airports. Trains are energy efficient and fight climate change. America needs to have world class transportation infrastructure to compete overseas. Rail technology is a source of high-paying manufacturing and construction jobs. I would expect that a rail advocacy group that wants to be taken seriously would provide serious answers to choose from instead of that nonsense.
