Does anyone know why trains 5 and 6 were diverted from Colorado into Wyoming today? Do you people even watch passenger train traffic?

My wife and I were on the westbound Zephyr (train #5) on Sat . Night/Sun. morning (Nov22 & 23). We were about thirty minutes  from arriving in Denver when the conductor made an announcement over the P.A. system that there was a rockslide in the mountains and that the train was being rerouted. Heard conflicting reports that the rockslide was in Glenwood Canyon and then a little later that the slide was 35 miles west of Granby. All passengers whose destination was to Winter Park thru Helper, Utah were going to be bused.  I don't know how long this service disruption will be in effect, or if things are back to normal yet.The Amtrak website has said nothing about this, which I thought they should have by now.

1st train ride was at 18 months old...and still riding the rails!
