Will Amtrak have Acela DPU's?

Highly unlikely due to fact that 2 trains connected too long for NEC platforms at many stations.  Mifgt plug NYP as an example.  The TGVs  in France often run with two trains together. 

Another problem may be that 2 doubles passing each other might overload the CAT electrical suppl ?  Speculate that may be one reason for the increase of electric supply NYP - PHL ?

DPU is not really the term to use.  Try editing title to something like   will Amtrak ever operate 2 Acela train sets together ?

Like they do in Europe, on busier routes, will amtrak have Acela's DPU? Especially during the holidays?
