Why is the westbound California Zephyr now scheduled to spend four hours in Denver? This change is not shown in the timetable that is available on the Amtrak site. Is the UP doing extensive work just west of Denver, on the Big Ten curve? When I was returning from a trip to the east in June, we had to wait some time before we were allowed to leave Denver because of work being done on this curve.
There seems to be no change in the schedule of the eastbound train.
