Cancelled thru Thursday due to clean up taking a long time

Northline Sounder service between Seattle and Everett is canceled Thursday, 4/3/14. An additional 24 hours is needed due to the size and extent of clean-up required from Tuesday’s mudslide. Sound Transit will provide special buses with direct service to/from Northline Sounder stations in addition to local bus service.

Another mud slide Seattle - Everett.  This was a rather large one.  Guess Washington state is getting mud slides everywhere.

Although it may be too many days away there are beginning indications that a weather  "bomb" may hit the NE in about 5 days. Depending on the final track of the storm it could rival the 1993  "storm of the century".  Watch your weather and remember a change of 50 - 100 miles of the predicted track could mean a nothing storm to a disaster

Auto Train southbound consist departing Lorton March 3 was seriously delayed by external forces (i.e., weather-related delays on CSX) by several hours. Arrived SFA several hours late March 4; still very late returning to Lorton March 5. Departed LOR March 5 about 4 hours late, but made up little if any time. Departed SFA March 6, still about 4 hours late; arrived LOR March 7, set brakes about 12:35pm, about 3 hours late. I think that consist is back on time now.
