The "Pere Marquette" between Chicago and Grand Rapids.

New Buffalo and Michigan DOT have applied for federal funding to install a track connection so the Pere Marquette can stop at the downtown New Buffalo station.

The application was unsuccessful in this year's TIGER grants.

The route was not discontinued, however the Chicago to Grand Rapids train does not stop in there anymore.
