Looks like quite a cool hobby. You can also try it out with bicycle type vehicles.

Please see that all schools along the NE Corridor, along all lines out of Chicago, and definitely the California Shore Line to San Diego see this.  Yeah.

RIDEWITHMEHENRY is the name for our almost monthly day of riding trains and transit in either the NYCity or Philadelphia areas including all commuter lines, Amtrak, subways, light rail and trolleys, bus and ferries when warranted. No fees, just let us know you want to join the ride and pay your fares. Ask to be on our email list or find us on FB as RIDEWITHMEHENRY (all caps) to get descriptions of each outing.

The rail tops sure look awfully shiny for a line that allegedly has seen no rail traffic since 1986,

Think you may need to check you glasses - all I saw was solid rusty rail tops and the foliage in the center of the tracks indicated no activity for some period of time.

Rule G was not being observed by these bozo's.

Balt:   Check the picture at the !:25 mark.  Looks greyish to silverish.  Maybe given the location (Salton) there is no rain? Later, after the 2:00 mark, it looks as you say.

With the screen resolution on my computer - nothing looked operated upon.  At least not by a train.  Now, maybe these bozo's have used their 'speeder' enough over a small segment to wear through a little of the rust.
