A couple of weeks ago I had to do some work in Denver's Union Station, which is being rebuilt as a transportation hub/boutique hotel. Information is available here - http://www.denverunionstation.org.
I had a chance to wander all over the now-empty structure, but I was so fascinated I only thought to grab a few photographs.

I hope they somehow retain the historical detail while making it up-to-date. Fascinating pictures. Thank you, Colorado Mac. The only time I was there was when I was four years old. My parents took a home movie from the UP City of Denver as we passed through the coachyard, which I still have, but no shots of Denver Union itself. We traveled from Davis Junction, Illinois (Milw Rd) to Denver and back.
Nice photos and thanks for sharing. I went thru there three times on the old UP City of St. Louis. Sometimes we got off or not. Then when I visited a friend in late 1990's, I took another look. It was going downhill at the time, but I could recognize how magnificent it was.
