With the government cutbacks due to sequestration the FAA is cutting back on controller hours. Here in ATL there already are delays even though weather is fine. The airlines may / will probably cut back on shorter length trips in a few days. The commuter carriers may be hit disproportionally hard ?. If so we can watch the loads on AMTRAK for those routes. Reports on the NEC from BOS / Buffalo --- Virginia, Chicago - short dist ( inc Detroit ), Cascades, Northern & Souther California.
