Saw 4 or 5 former Express Trak cars on a SW bound BNSF freight between Boise City, OK and Amarillo, TX about 2 months ago. Had IPFX reporting marks.
When someone realizes that people don't like waiting at 2 a.m. for a train that's 2 hours late...then Amtrak will be in trouble

On 03/30/13 in Iowa City Iowa, I saw 6 or 7 Express Trak box cars heading west on the Iowa Interstate RR.  They were part of a mixed-merchandise train being pulled by IAIS engines.  These cars had something that looked like a shock absorber on the wheel truck springs.

ExpressTrak, Where Did They Go?

At the former Amtrak ExpressTrak yard in Harrisburg PA the 20 or so former express boxcars are gone. They have sat at the yard for years, including two floods, with the only activity being a change of wheel sets back in January. Anyone know where they went? Recycle or maybe new as baggage cars? Can't see why money was spent to repair the wheels only to drag them off to the recycle yard.
