Names of arenas change as often as the weather these days.  eg., Brendan T. Byrne Arena  > Continental Arena > Izod Center.  BTW, Gov. Byrne is still alive.

You can go to Willlmington to hear the Delaware Symphony Orchestra in the restored DuPont Theatre and then complain to me if you think the acoustics are not up to snuff.   Or attend a play there.

Anyone remember Brendan Byrne Arena?

Izod Center (formerly Brendan Byrne Arena) had a name change because New Jersey wanted to sell the naming rights.  

 ...while the guy was still alive.  

If I remember right, he was gov. when the place was built...

 And more famously, dynamite.  Although the original dyanmite factory blew up. 

Wilmington's train station is a gem.  The city of Wilmington, not so much.

I'm sure, Johnny, Vice President would be more than happy to have you or anyone use his station.  From the north you can even get there using New Jersey Transit and SEPTA with a couple of train changes.  And you can even go and see where the DuPonts started making gun powder.  I found that pretty interesting.

Perhaps it is good that there is no Amtrak service to State College, PA.

Well OK, Joe Biden's a BIG supporter of Amtrak, but personally I like the late Chicago columnist  Mike Royko's rule:  NEVER name ANYTHING after someone until after he's dead!  You could be saving yourself the  embarrassment he might cause you if he's still alive!

Look at Joe Paterno and Penn State.  Yikes.
