The title of this thread is absolutely inappropriate! I have no idea what late running long distance trains have to do with the infamous fascist Italian dictator, who was responsible for the death of hundreds of thousand people, if not millions.

The title is abusive and offensive!

Ridiculous.  But since LD train users are clearly not interested in speed but the "experience" similar to a cruise,, it shouldn't really matter to them.

Departure times out of Chicago yesterday for the long distance trains:

Builder 39 minutes late, Zephyr 45 minutes late, Chief on time, Eagle 58 minutes late, City 1 hour 37 minutes late, Capitol 30 minutes late and the Lake Shore 1 hour 50 minutes late.
