Cascades-Logo Locomotive

Happened to briefly observe a "different-looking" Amtrak head-end locomotive with "Cascades" on its paint this Thursday (July 21st) morning, N/B on the Surfliner, with more than the usual number of passenger cars and then with a familiar Amtrak P42/40 locomotive pushing. Is there anything special about this "Cascades" locomotive and/or this consist?
