CalTrain's new terminal at the location of Transbay Terminal is now under construction with the demolition of the old Transbay Terminal. The new terminal will be at this location with California HSR also terminating at the new terminal.

A landmark in San Francisco is coming down. (although not a very important one IMHO) Demolition started Aug 13th after a temporary terminal was opened on Aug 8. Once the first ramp is demo the temp terminal will be expanded. One of the bus ramps has already come down and the schedule for complete demo is Apr 29th. On the below web site is all the information although the site is a little difficult to navigate at first. A construction camera is viewing the overall scene with the display as time lapse pictures.

The present plan is to open the new treminal to bus traffic 2015 and Cal Train 2016 with provision as well for California HSR trains.
