Hi,

But will they still be operated as thru trains ?? I-E;  Zurich-Milan will still be one train without any apparent change for the passenger, but a fiscal ''connection'' at Chiasso ??

Cheers

C

At the December 13th timetable change, SBB and FS will terminate their joint passenger service known as Cisalpino AG. The existing fleet of ETR 470 tilting trainsets and the ordered ETR 610 trainsets will be divided between the two railway companies. Effective on that date each company will operate the international trains that operate between the two countries on their own within their separate countries.
